Panel fit and frame size
The 3RA2215-0KA15-2AP6: This is a size S00 reversing starter — the smallest frame in the SIRIUS 3RA2 family, which means it fits where a full-size reversing contactor-and-overload pair would crowd the DIN rail. The supplied contactor is a 3RT2015-1AP62, and the link module is 3RA1921-1DA00, so the assembly arrives pre-configured for reversing duty: two contactors mechanically interlocked with the thermal overload wired for the common motor circuit. The footprint is 90 mm wide by 170 mm tall, 97.1 mm deep — the width is the critical number for multi-starter panels because the S00 frame keeps the rail spacing tight. Clearance above the starter needs 20 mm, below 10 mm, and 9 mm on each side; no clearance is needed in front or behind, so it tucks flush against a backplate.
Duty ratings and motor protection
Rated for AC-3 switching duty up to 690 V, this starter handles reversing of three-phase squirrel-cage motors. At 400 V it's rated for 370 W motor power; at 500 V, 550 W; at 690 V, 750 W. The horsepower ratings at 460/480 V and 575/600 V are both 0.5 hp. The operating frequency is 50 or 60 Hz, with the control coil accepting 187–242 V at 50 Hz and 192–264 V at 60 Hz. The thermal overload is field-adjustable — the bimetallic element responds to motor current, not ambient temperature, so the trip curve is consistent across the -20 to +60 °C operating range.
