Reversing starter for 60 mm busbar systems
The Siemens 3RA2220-1FH24-0AP0 is a SIRIUS reversing starter in the S0 frame size — two contactors and a mechanical interlock in one package, designed for snapping onto 60 mm busbar systems rather than DIN rail. It ships with a 3RT2024-2AP00 contactor and a 3RA2921-2AA00 link module, so the reversing pair is pre-assembled and tested at the factory. The main circuit uses spring-loaded terminals, which cuts wiring time compared to screw clamps.
Trip Class 10 and AC-3 duty ceiling
Rated Trip Class 10 — that means it disconnects within 10 seconds at 600 % of the thermal setting, standard for standard-duty motor starting where the load doesn't hang on the start. The AC-3 rated voltage maxes out at 690 V, covering 400 V and 480 V common line voltages without derating.
Mounting and panel fit
Mounts vertically only, snapping onto 60 mm busbar systems — not a standard DIN rail. The dimensions are 165 mm deep, 90 mm wide, 260 mm tall, with 50 mm clearance needed above and 32 mm in front for wiring and heat dissipation. Side clearance is 10 mm; zero clearance at the back. Operates from -20 to +60 °C ambient, stores from -50 to +80 °C. The temperature compensation range matches the operating range, so no extra derating for enclosure heat rise within those limits.
Lifecycle and sourcing
Sourced through independent distribution; availability and pricing confirmed at quote time against the BOM quantity.
