Reversing starter, S0 frame, CLASS 10
The 3RA2220-1GB24-0AP6: It ships with the 3RT2024-1AP60 contactor and the 3RA2921-1AA00 link module already integrated, so the reversing interlock and mechanical interlocking are handled at the factory — no field wiring between contactors. The CLASS 10 trip class means the overload relay opens within 10 seconds at 600% of the set current, matching the thermal curve of standard AC induction motors during a locked-rotor start.
DIN-rail footprint and panel clearances
Snap-on mounting on a 35 mm standard rail (EN 60715) with a vertical mounting position specified — the 120 mm depth, 90 mm width, and 265 mm height define the panel cutout and clearance envelope. Minimum clearances to adjacent components: 30 mm upwards, 10 mm forwards, 10 mm downwards, 9 mm at the side, and 0 mm backwards — critical when laying out a dense panel with multiple starters side by side.
Rated voltage and motor power coverage
Rated for AC-3 duty up to 690 V maximum, with motor power ratings spanning 0.25 hp at 110/120 V up to 5 hp at 575/600 V — covers the common North American and IEC motor voltage tiers. At 400 V the rated motor power is 2 200 W; at 500 V it is 3 000 W. The full-load current at 480 V is 4.8 A and at 600 V is 6.3 A, which sets the overload relay setting range. The coil operates on 176... 242 V at 50 Hz and 192... 264 V at 60 Hz — a wide AC coil tolerance that covers 208/230/240 V line voltages without a tap change.
