What's in the box — supplied as a unit
This is a Siemens SIRIUS reversing starter, order code 3RA2220-4AD26-0AP0, size S0, designed to snap onto 60 mm busbar systems. It ships as a pre-assembled unit containing the contactor (3RT2026-1AP00), the link module (3RA2921-1AA00), and the busbar adapter (8US1251-5NT10). The overload release is thermal bimetallic, Class 10 trip class, meaning it protects motors with a normal starting profile — think conveyors, pumps, fans that reach full speed within ten seconds. The main circuit termination is screw-type, so you're wiring with ring or fork terminals, not spring cages.
Motor power and mounting fit
The frame size is S0 — the same as the supplied circuit-breaker — so the whole feeder fits in a consistent footprint on the busbar. Mounting is vertical only, with 50 mm clearance needed above, 32 mm in front, and 10 mm at the sides and below. No clearance required behind the unit. The 155 mm depth, 90 mm width, and 260 mm height let you plan the busbar layout without surprises.
Lifecycle and sourcing
The operating temperature range is -20 to +60 °C, with storage and transport limits of -50 to +80 °C. The 50/60 Hz operating frequency covers standard mains supplies globally.
