Reversing starter that snaps onto 60 mm busbars
The 3RA2220-4BH27-0AP0 is a SIRIUS reversing starter in size S0, designed to snap directly onto 60 mm busbar systems — no DIN-rail adapter needed for that mounting method. It ships with the contactor 3RT2027-2AP00 and the link module 3RA2921-2AA00 as a matched assembly, so you get the interlock and reversing logic built in, not wired up on site. At 480 V it's rated 20 A, at 600 V also 20 A, so the current limit holds across common North American voltages.
Mounting dimensions and clearance needs
The starter body measures 90 mm wide by 260 mm high by 165 mm deep. It mounts vertically only. Forwards clearance is 32 mm for wiring access; upwards you need 50 mm, downwards 10 mm, and 10 mm at the sides. Backwards clearance is zero when snapped onto the busbar — the back face sits flush against the busbar system. The main circuit uses spring-loaded terminals — no screw torque to check, but you'll want a ferrule on stranded wire to keep the strands from splaying. Operating temperature range is -20 to +60 °C, storage and transport -50 to +80 °C.
