The Siemens 3RA2220-4DB27-0AP0 is a SIRIUS reversing starter, Size S0, combining two contactors and a thermal overload relay in one assembly for forward/reverse motor control.
DIN rail mounting and panel fit
Mounts on 35 mm DIN rail via the supplied adapter, or directly with screws — the S0 frame size keeps the footprint compact at 90 mm wide, 120 mm deep, and 265 mm tall. Clearance requirements: 50 mm above, 32 mm in front, 10 mm below, and 10 mm at the sides — plan the enclosure layout accordingly for airflow and wiring access. The main circuit uses screw-type terminals, and the supplied contactor is 3RT2027-1AP00 with a link module 3RA2921-1AA00 — the assembly arrives pre-coordinated for reversing duty.
Operating temperature range is -20 to +60 °C, with storage and transport limits from -50 to +80 °C — suitable for most industrial enclosure environments.
