Reversing starter, SIRIUS series, size S0
The Siemens 3RA2225-1BB23-0AP6 is a SIRIUS non-fused reversing motor starter — two contactors interlocked with a thermal overload relay in one assembly, size S0 frame. It's built for controlling motors that need to run forward and reverse, like conveyor drives or valve actuators, without separate reversing contactor wiring.
Snap-on DIN rail, vertical mounting only
Snap-on fastening on 35 mm standard rail, vertical mounting position only. The 120 mm depth, 90 mm width, and 265 mm height mean it fits a standard panel depth — check the enclosure depth against the 120 mm plus wiring clearance at the top (30 mm upwards) and bottom (10 mm downwards). Side clearance is 9 mm at the side, 10 mm forwards, and 0 mm backwards — the back of the unit sits flush against the mounting plate. No extra space needed behind the rail.
Supplied as a wired assembly, not loose parts
This order code ships as a complete unit: the supplied contactor is 3RT2023-1AP60, the link module is 3RA2921-1AA00, and the busbar adapter is 3RA2922-1AA00. That's one SKU on the shelf instead of three — fewer line items to manage for a reversing starter replacement. Wire size for main contacts: 1 to 10 mm² stranded, or 2x (2.5 to 6 mm²). The thermal overload is adjustable within the rating range — set it to the motor nameplate FLA during commissioning.
