Reversing starter for motor control panels
The Siemens 3RA2225-4AD26-0AP6 is a SIRIUS non-fused reversing motor starter in Size S0, designed for snap-on mounting onto 60 mm busbar systems. It integrates a reversing contactor pair and overload relay in one package, saving panel space compared to building the reversing circuit from discrete components. Rated at 15.2 A at 480 V and delivering 10 hp at 460/480 V (AC-3), this starter handles reversing motor loads up to that current. The supplied contactor is 3RT2026-1AP60 and the link module is 3RA2921-1AA00, so the unit arrives as a pre-assembled reversing feeder ready for busbar connection.
Mounts vertically by snapping onto 60 mm busbar systems — no separate DIN rail adapter needed for the busbar mount. Dimensions are 155 mm depth, 90 mm width, 260 mm height. Clearance requirements: 30 mm upwards, 10 mm forwards, 10 mm downwards, 9 mm at the side, and 0 mm backwards. The Size S0 footprint matches other SIRIUS S0 components, so busbar layout and wiring patterns stay consistent across the panel. Main contact wiring accepts stranded conductors 1 to 10 mm², or 2 × (2.5 to 6 mm²) for paralleled feeds.
