What this reversing contactor assembly delivers
The Siemens 3RA2315-8XE30-1BB4 is a pre-assembled reversing contactor in the SIRIUS S00 frame — it ships with two contactors already wired for direction reversal: one 3RT2015-1BB42-0CC0 and one 3RT2015-1BB42. That saves panel-build time over sourcing and wiring two separate contactors plus a mechanical interlock. The 24 V DC coil means it drops straight into a 24 VDC control circuit without an extra power supply tap.
Snaps onto 35 mm standard DIN rail (screw-fasten also supported). The mounting position is flexible — you can rotate the assembly ±180° on a vertical surface, and tilt it forward or backward by ±22.5°, which helps when you're squeezing it into a crowded sub-panel. Dimensions: 90 mm wide, 68 mm high, 73 mm deep. Clearance around the unit: 6 mm upwards, forwards, downwards, and to the side; zero clearance backwards. That's tight enough for most standard enclosures.
