Panel fit and mounting flexibility
The 3RA2316-8XB30-1AP0 is a reversing contactor assembly in the SIRIUS S00 frame size, measuring 90 mm wide by 68 mm tall by 73 mm deep. That flexibility is useful when you're squeezing it into a tight enclosure corner or aligning it with existing duct runs. Clearance around the assembly: 6 mm upwards, downwards, and to the sides, with 0 mm backwards — so you can push it flush against the back panel. No extra breathing space needed behind it.
Motor ratings that matter
Current ratings follow: 7.6 A at 480 V, 9 A at 600 V. The AC-3 maximum switching frequency is 750 operations per hour — that's the practical ceiling for reversing a motor under load without overheating the contacts. The assembly is built from two 3RT2016-1AP02 contactors, mechanically interlocked for reversing. That covers most panel wiring up to about 12 AWG.
Environmental and mechanical limits
Mechanical life of the contactor is 10 million operations typical.
