Panel fit and mounting
The 3RA2316-8XB30-1BF4: Screw and snap-on mounting; you can rotate it ±180° on a vertical surface or tilt it ±22.5° forward or backward. Clearance: 6 mm upwards, forwards, downwards, and to the sides; zero backwards.
Motor duty and switching
At 480 V it's 7.6 A; at 600 V it's 9 A. The AC-3e maximum operating rate is 750 cycles per hour — fast enough for most conveyor or pump reversing applications without overheating the coil. The magnet coil runs on 110 VDC with screw-type terminals. Mechanical life is 10 million operations typical — the contactor pair inside (two 3RT2016-1BB42 units) is what wears, and at that life rating you're looking at years of service in normal cycling.
Wiring and environment
The coil terminals use the same screw-type range. Shock rated at 10.5 g for 5 ms and 6.6 g for 10 ms on both AC and DC — tough enough for machine-mounted panels.
