The 3RA2316-8XB34-1DM4 is a SIRIUS reversing contactor assembly that ships with two 3RT2016-1DM44 contactors pre-configured for reversing duty — no separate interlock kit to order. The assembly includes a built-in varistor surge suppressor across the coil, so you do not need to add a separate RC snubber or MOV for coil suppression.
Motor ratings across common line voltages
At 200/208 V the assembly is rated 2 hp; at 220/230 V it delivers 3 hp; at 460/480 V it handles 5 hp; and at 575/600 V it reaches 7.5 hp — covering the standard North American motor voltage tiers. The AC-4 rating at 400 V is also 4 kW, meaning the assembly can handle the more demanding plugging and inching duty without derating from the AC-3 figure.
