The Siemens 3RA2316-8XB37-1DE4 is a SIRIUS reversing contactor assembly in frame size S00. It comes pre-configured with two 3RT2016-1DE47 contactors mechanically interlocked, so you get forward/reverse motor control in one package — no separate interlock wiring or external mechanical linkage to add. At 480 V it's rated 7.6 A; at 600 V, 9 A. Horsepower equivalents run from 2 hp at 200/208 V up to 7.5 hp at 575/600 V. Built-in varistor surge suppression is included on the coil — one less accessory to order and mount.
Mounting and panel integration
Dimensions are 145 mm deep, 90 mm wide, 68 mm high — compact enough for the S00 frame to fit in tight enclosures. Clearance requirements: 6 mm upwards, forwards, downwards, and to the side; 0 mm backwards. Screw-type terminals on both the main current circuit and the magnet coil.
