The 3RA2316-8XB37-1DF4: This is a pre-assembled reversing contactor from the SIRIUS family — two 3RT2016-1DF47 contactors mechanically interlocked on a common baseplate, with a varistor surge suppressor built in. Size S00 frame, 68 mm high, 90 mm wide, 145 mm deep. Screw and snap-on mounting onto 35 mm standard DIN rail. Clearance distances: 6 mm upwards, forwards, downwards, and to the side; zero clearance needed backwards. That 145 mm depth is the dimension to check against your enclosure depth — it's the full projection including the terminals.
Motor ratings that decide the fit
At 480 V it's 7.6 A; at 600 V it's 9 A; at 690 V it's 5.5 kW. AC-4 rating at 400 V is also 4 kW — that's the plugging/inching duty cycle, not just across-the-line start. If your application does frequent reversing under load, this is the rating to size against. Six auxiliary contacts total (instantaneous), three per direction of rotation. Coil terminals are screw-type; main circuit terminals are also screw-type.
