The 3RA2317-8XB30-1AP0 is a SIRIUS reversing contactor assembly built from two 3RT2017-1AP02 contactors in a common frame. This means the reversing pair is pre-wired and interlocked — no external mechanical interlock or cross-wiring needed between the forward and reverse contactors.
Panel fit and mounting flexibility
The 90 mm width, 68 mm height, and 73 mm depth fit the S00 footprint, leaving room alongside other SIRIUS components on the same rail. This helps when the panel layout forces an angled orientation — the contactor still operates within spec.
Rated for 750 operating cycles per hour at AC-3 and AC-3e maximum — that's one reversal every ~5 seconds sustained. The mechanical life is 10 million cycles typical, so this assembly outlasts most motor-driven mechanisms in conveyor or pump reversing duty.
Thermal and environmental range
The -25 °C lower limit means it works in unheated plant areas or cold storage environments without a heater. Vibration resistance: 11.4 g at 5 ms and 7.3 g at 10 ms for both AC and DC — the assembly holds its contact set under moderate machine vibration without chatter.
