The Siemens SIRIUS 3RA2317-8XB30-1BB4 is a factory-assembled reversing contactor assembly — two mechanically interlocked contactors in one package, so you get forward/reverse control of a three-phase motor without building the interlock yourself. It ships with two 3RT2017-1BB42 contactors already wired and gated, sized for a motor load up to 5.5 kW at 400 V AC-3 (11 A at 480 V). The 24 V DC coil keeps it compatible with standard PLC or relay outputs.
Size S00 footprint (90 mm wide, 68 mm tall, 73 mm deep) fits the standard compact contactor slot. Clearance: 6 mm upward, forward, downward, and sideways; zero backward clearance needed, so you can push it flush against a gland plate or wireway.
AC-3 maximum operating voltage is 690 V, so it also handles 480 V and 600 V motor circuits within the current limits. At 460/480 V it is rated 7.5 hp; at 575/600 V, 10 hp.
