The 3RA2317-8XB30-2AP0: This is a factory-assembled reversing contactor assembly from the Siemens SIRIUS line, size S00. It ships with two 3RT2017-2AP02 contactors mechanically interlocked and pre-wired for reversing duty — no field assembly of the interlock kit. Both the main current circuit and the magnet coil use spring-loaded (spring-clamp) terminals.
Mechanical life is 10 million operations typical for the contactor size. The assembly operates from -25 to +60 °C ambient and stores from -55 to +80 °C — fine for unheated enclosures in temperate climates, but check the internal temperature rise if the panel is sealed and the contactors are cycling near the thermal limit.
