The Siemens 3RA2318-8XB30-1AP6 is a SIRIUS reversing contactor assembly — a pre-wired pair of contactors with mechanical and electrical interlock, ready to reverse a three-phase motor. It ships with two 3RT2018-1AP62 contactors already installed and wired, saving panel-build time on conveyor, hoist, or pump reversing circuits.
Screw terminals on the main circuit and coil; wire sizes accepted: 2x (0.5–1.5 mm²), 2x (0.75–2.5 mm²), or 2x 4 mm² solid/stranded. Dimensions: 90 mm wide, 68 mm tall, 73 mm deep — size S00 footprint, so it takes minimal DIN space.
Ratings and environment
At 460/480 V it's rated 10 hp; at 575/600 V also 10 hp. Coil draws 0.28 A at 50 Hz and 0.85–1.1 A at 60 Hz. Vibration resistance: 11.4 g at 5 ms, 7.3 g at 10 ms (AC and DC). Clearances: 6 mm upwards, forwards, downwards, and sideways; 0 mm backwards — plan ventilation and wiring access.
