What this reversing contactor assembly does
The 3RA2324-8XB30-1AG2 is a SIRIUS reversing contactor assembly from Siemens — it combines two contactors in one S0-size package so you can reverse a three-phase motor without wiring up two separate contactors and an interlock yourself. One direction per contactor, one supplied contactor inside is the 3RT2024-1AG20. At 690 V the power rating climbs to 7.5 kW, and at 480 V the current rating is 11 A — so the same assembly covers a range of line voltages without swapping parts.
Mounting and panel fit
Fastens with screws or snaps onto a 35 mm standard mounting rail. The mounting position is flexible — you can rotate it ±180° on a vertical surface and tilt it forward or backward by ±22.5°, which helps when the panel layout is tight. Dimensions are 97 mm deep, 90 mm wide, and 101 mm tall. Clearance around the unit: 6 mm upwards, 6 mm downwards, 6 mm to the side, and 0 mm backwards — so you can push it against the back panel if needed.
