The Siemens SIRIUS 3RA2324-8XB30-1AP6 is a factory-assembled reversing contactor in size S0, built around two 3RT2024-1AP60 contactors — one per direction of rotation. It delivers 5.5 kW at 400 V AC and 7.5 kW at 690 V AC, with a mechanical life of 10 million operating cycles.
The headline power rating of 5.5 kW at 400 V AC-3 tells you this assembly is sized for a standard 5.5 kW three-phase motor — typical for a medium conveyor, pump, or fan. At 480 V it carries 11 A; at 600 V also 11 A — the current limit stays constant across the higher voltage range, so the real constraint for a 480 V or 600 V motor is the 11 A full-load current, not the power number. Clearance requirements are tight: 6 mm upwards, forwards, downwards, and sideways, with 0 mm backwards — so it can sit flush against the back panel.
Solid wire capacity is 2x (1 … 2.5 mm²) and 2x (2.5 … 10 mm²). Stranded wire accepts 2x (0.5 … 1.5 mm²) and 2x (0.75 … 2.5 mm²). The coil also terminates in screw-type terminals.
