The Siemens 3RA2325-8XB30-2BB4 is a SIRIUS reversing contactor assembly — a single unit that houses two mechanically interlocked contactors (both 3RT2025-2BB40) so you get forward/reverse switching of a three-phase motor without extra wiring or interlocks. Rated 7.5 kW at 400 V AC-3, it covers the common 400 V motor frame up to that power. The coil pulls 24 VDC, which keeps it compatible with standard DC control supplies in panels that already run 24 VDC for PLCs and relays. The assembly snaps onto a 35 mm DIN rail (screw-fixed for vibration) and fits the S0 contactor footprint — 90 mm wide, 114 mm tall, 107 mm deep. Spring-type terminals on the main circuit and the coil accept 1 to 10 mm² solid or 0.5 to 2.5 mm² stranded, which covers most motor feed cables up to 10 mm². Clearance around the unit: 6 mm top, bottom, and sides; zero behind it — so it packs tight against the backplane.
At 480 V the rating is 14 A; at 600 V it's 17 A; at 690 V it reaches 11 kW. Shock resistance is rated at 11.8 g / 5 ms and 7.4 g / 10 ms on AC, and 15 g / 5 ms and 10 g / 10 ms on DC, so it holds up in mobile or high-vibration installations like genset controls or pump skids.
