S0 reversing contactor assembly — two 3RT2025 contactors, one mechanical interlock
The 3RA2325-8XD30-1DE4: This is a pre-assembled SIRIUS reversing contactor — two 3RT2025-1BE40 contactors on a common base with a mechanical interlock so both directions cannot close together.
DIN rail mounting and wiring clearance
Snaps onto 35 mm standard mounting rail with the screw-and-snap method. The S0 frame footprint is 90 mm wide, 101 mm tall, 107 mm deep — that depth sits well within a 200 mm enclosure but check the gland-plate clearance if the panel is shallow. For spacing, allow 6 mm upwards, forwards, downwards, and sideways; zero clearance needed backwards.
Terminal capacity — main and coil circuits
AWG equivalents for main contacts are 2x (16...12) and 2x (14...8). All main terminals are screw-type. The magnet coil also uses screw-type terminals — consistent termination method across the assembly, no mixing spring and screw on the same device.
Built-in surge suppression and environmental limits
The surge suppressor is a varistor type — it clips voltage transients from the coil circuit, which matters when the contactor shares a control transformer with PLC outputs or other sensitive loads. Shock resistance is rated at 11.8 g / 5 ms and 7.4 g / 10 ms for AC, 15 g / 5 ms and 10 g / 10 ms for DC — the DC shock rating is higher because the contactor holds in without AC zero-cross chatter.
Mechanical life of the contactor is 10 million operating cycles typical — the reversing assembly shares that life rating since it uses the same contactor mechanism.
