Reversing contactor assembly — two 3RT2026-1AC20 contactors in one package
The 3RA2326-8XB30-1AC2 is a Siemens SIRIUS reversing contactor assembly built from two 3RT2026-1AC20 contactors, each rated 11 kW at 400 V AC-3 with a 24 V 50/60 Hz coil. The S0 frame size means it shares the mounting footprint and accessory ecosystem (overload relays, busbars, shrouds) with the rest of the SIRIUS S0 line — no surprises when fitting a thermal overload or a mechanical interlock. The 11 kW rating at 400 V holds for AC-3 duty (squirrel-cage motors started and stopped on load).
Dimensions: 101 mm high, 90 mm wide, 97 mm deep. The depth is the critical dimension for shallow enclosures — 97 mm means the assembly clears most 120 mm-deep cabinets with room for the coil wiring and main power cables. Clearance around the unit: 6 mm upwards, forwards, downwards, and to the side; 0 mm backwards (the DIN rail surface).
Terminal capacity and wiring
Two instantaneous auxiliary contacts (NO/NC configurable) are available for feedback to the PLC or for electrical interlocking between the forward and reverse contactors — the reversing interlock is mechanical within the assembly, but the aux contacts let the control logic confirm the state.
Environmental and mechanical endurance
The 60 °C ceiling is the limiting factor for installation in non-ventilated enclosures near heat sources — above 60 °C ambient, derate the continuous current per the SIRIUS derating curves. Mechanical life of the contactor typical is 10 million operations. Shock resistance: 13.5 g / 5 ms and 8.3 g / 10 ms on AC; 15 g / 5 ms and 10 g / 10 ms on DC. The DC shock rating is higher because the contactor holds in without AC zero-cross chatter — relevant for applications on battery-backed DC control buses.
For a line-down replacement, the two 3RT2026-1AC20 contactors can be sourced individually if the complete assembly is on backorder — the mechanical interlock and wiring are field-installable.
