What this reversing assembly does in a panel
The 3RA2326-8XB30-1AG2: This is a Siemens SIRIUS reversing contactor assembly — two contactors mechanically interlocked so only one can close at a time, wired to reverse a three-phase motor without external interlock relays. Each direction of rotation uses one 3RT2026-1AG20 contactor, both supplied in the assembly, so you get a matched pair with the mechanical interlock already set.
Size S0 fit and DIN-rail mounting
Size S0 frame — 90 mm wide, 101 mm high, 97 mm deep — screws or snaps onto 35 mm standard DIN rail, saving panel space over wiring two separate contactors plus a mechanical interlock kit. Clearance around the assembly: 6 mm upwards, forwards, downwards, and to the side; 0 mm backwards — it can sit flush against the back panel.
Motor ratings that decide the fit
Rated 11 kW at 400 V AC-3 — that is the standard three-phase motor switching duty, covering most 15 HP class motors at 400 V. At 480 V the continuous current rating is 21 A; at 600 V it is 22 A.
Environmental and mechanical endurance
Mechanical life is 10 million operations typical — the contactors themselves, not the whole assembly, but that is the wear limit for the moving parts. Shock resistance: 13.5 g at 5 ms and 8.3 g at 10 ms under AC; 15 g at 5 ms and 10 g at 10 ms under DC — relevant if the panel is on a vibrating machine or a mobile platform.
