The 3RA2326-8XB30-2AC2 is a Siemens SIRIUS reversing contactor assembly — a pre-wired pair of contactors with mechanical interlock, designed to reverse a three-phase motor by swapping two phases. It ships with two 3RT2026-2AC20 contactors already mounted and wired on a common base plate.
Motor ratings that govern the selection
In AC-3 duty (starting and running motors), the assembly delivers 11 kW at 400 V, 21 A at 480 V, and 22 A at 600 V. Two instantaneous auxiliary contacts are built in — enough for a basic seal-in and status feedback to a PLC without adding a separate auxiliary block.
Mounting, wiring, and panel fit
The assembly mounts on 35 mm standard DIN rail via the screw-and-snap-on method. The magnet coil also terminates on spring-type terminals — no screwdriver needed for the control wiring. Envelope dimensions are 114 mm high, 90 mm wide, and 97 mm deep. Clearance requirements: 6 mm upward, downward, and to the side; 0 mm backward (flush against the rail); 6 mm forward. These are the minimum gaps for ventilation and arc clearance — tighter layouts risk thermal buildup.
