Reversing contactor assembly, SIRIUS S0 frame, 11 kW at 400 V
The 3RA2326-8XB30-2AG2 is a Siemens SIRIUS reversing contactor assembly — two mechanically interlocked contactors in one package that swap phase rotation for forward/reverse motor control. It ships with two 3RT2026-2AG20 contactors already wired and interlocked, so the panel builder skips the external interlock wiring and the mechanical linkage. The 2 NO auxiliary contacts handle the control-circuit feedback without an add-on block for simple reversing schemes.
Snaps onto 35 mm standard DIN rail with a screw-and-snap-on fastener — no tools needed for the rail, but the screw secures it against vibration in mobile equipment. The S0 frame footprint is 90 mm wide by 114 mm high by 97 mm deep, leaving 6 mm clearance above, below, and to the sides, and zero clearance behind the rail. Mounting position is flexible: the assembly can be rotated ±180° on a vertical surface and tilted forward or backward by ±22.5°, which helps when the panel layout forces an odd angle.
Duty ratings and thermal limits
The AC-3 motor rating at 400 V is 11 kW, and at 480 V it carries 21 A — enough for a 15 hp motor on a 460 V line. At 600 V the current rating is 22 A, supporting a 20 hp motor at 575/600 V. Shock resistance is 13.5 g / 5 ms and 8.3 g / 10 ms on AC, 15 g / 5 ms and 10 g / 10 ms on DC — the assembly survives the bump of a reversing conveyor start without the interlock tripping.
