SIRIUS reversing contactor assembly — panel fit and ratings
The Siemens SIRIUS 3RA2326-8XB30-2AK6 is a reversing contactor assembly in size S0, built around two mechanically interlocked contactors that reverse a three-phase motor without external wiring interlocks. Rated 11 kW at 400 V, 21 A at 480 V, and 11 kW at 690 V, it handles a 7.5 hp motor at 220/230 V, 15 hp at 460/480 V, and 20 hp at 575/600 V — enough for a pump, fan, or small conveyor on a 480 V plant bus. The supplied contactor inside the assembly is the 3RT2026-2AK60, which means the reversing assembly shares the same coil and auxiliary base as the standalone contactor — spares logic stays consistent across the S0 frame.
Main power circuit terminals accept 2x solid conductors from 1 to 10 mm², and 2x stranded from 0.5 to 2.5 mm². That covers a #14 AWG feed through #8 AWG on the solid side, so a 10 mm² motor feed lands without adapters. Spring-type terminals on the coil — no screwdriver needed for the control wiring, just strip and push.
