SIRIUS reversing contactor — Size S0, 15 kW at 400 V
The Siemens 3RA2327-8XB30-1AL2 is a SIRIUS reversing contactor assembly — a pre-wired pair of contactors with mechanical interlock for direction reversal on three-phase motors. It ships with one 3RT2027-1AL20 contactor supplied as part of the assembly. The AC-3 rating at 750 operations per hour maximum means it's sized for motor switching duty — conveyors, pumps, compressors — where the contactor makes and breaks motor starting current, not just continuous load.
Mounting and terminal specs that matter for panel fit
Coil terminals are screw-type. The clearance gaps: 6 mm upwards, forwards, downwards, and to the side; 0 mm backwards — so the back face can sit flush against the panel backplate. Dimensions are 97 mm deep by 90 mm wide by 101 mm high — the S0 envelope. The depth is the critical number for shallow enclosures; at 97 mm it fits most standard 120 mm deep panels with room for wiring behind the door.
