Clearance requirements: 6 mm upwards, forwards, and to the sides, 0 mm backwards. This means you can push it against the back panel or a busbar without extra spacing, but leave room above and below for airflow and wiring access.
Power ratings and duty — what drives the selection
Rated 15 kW at 400 V AC-3 (standard motor switching) and 11 kW at 400 V AC-4 (plugging/inching duty). At 480 V it carries 27 A; at 600 V, 27 A; at 690 V the power rating is 18.5 kW. These are the numbers that decide whether this assembly handles the motor load without derating. Coil voltage is 110 V at 50 Hz and 120 V at 60 Hz — confirm the control transformer tap matches before wiring. The magnet coil uses spring-type terminals; the main current circuit uses spring-loaded terminals as well, so no screw torque checks on the power connections.
What ships inside — supplied contactors
The reversing assembly comes with two 3RT2027-2AK60 contactors, one per direction of rotation. Each contactor is rated for 10 million mechanical operations typical, which sets the service life before the assembly needs a swap.
