The 3RA2328-8XB30-1AL2: At 220/230 V it delivers 10 hp, and 25 hp at both 460/480 V and 575/600 V — so it covers the standard North American and IEC motor voltages in one unit.
Size S0 frame and DIN-rail mounting
Clearance around the assembly is specified: 6 mm upwards, forwards, downwards, and to the side, with 0 mm backwards — so the back can sit flush against the panel backplate.
Termination and wire sizing
The magnet coil also uses screw terminals — no push-in or spring-cage here, so factor in screwdriver torque and re-torque check during commissioning. Auxiliary contacts: 2 instantaneous contacts are included. The supplied contactor is a 3RT2028-1AL20 — so the reversing assembly ships with a matched pair, not loose components.
Mechanical life and operating conditions
Mechanical life is 10 million operating cycles typical — this is the contactor mechanism, not the electrical endurance under load. Electrical life at AC-3 maximum is 750 operations per hour, same for AC-3e.
