The Siemens SIRIUS 3RA2336-8XB30-1AK6 is a factory-assembled reversing contactor assembly — two mechanically interlocked contactors in one package, so you get forward/reverse switching without external interlocks or wiring mistakes. At 480 V it carries 52 A; at 690 V it still handles 22 kW. The coil is wound for 110 V at 50 Hz or 120 V at 60 Hz — common control voltages in European and North American panels respectively.
The 52 A at 480 V and 600 V gives you the same current capability at higher line voltages, useful for 480 V North American installations. The mechanical life of 10 million operations means the contactor body itself will outlast most applications; the electrical life at AC-3 maximum 800 switching cycles per hour is the practical limit for reversing duty. The assembly includes two 3RT2036-1AK60 contactors, each with one normally open instantaneous auxiliary contact — enough for basic self-holding or status feedback, but you'll add auxiliary blocks if you need more.
Clearance around the unit: 10 mm upwards, forwards, downwards, and to the side; 0 mm backwards (flush to the rail). Stranded with ferrule: 0.5 to 1.5 mm² (double) or 0.75 to 2.5 mm² (double). The magnet coil also uses screw terminals — no push-on connectors. Dimensions: 141 mm high, 120 mm wide, 130 mm deep.
