Reversing contactor assembly for motor reversing
The 3RA2336-8XB30-1AP6 is a Siemens SIRIUS reversing contactor assembly built around two 3RT2036-1AL20 contactors, delivering 22 kW at 400 V AC-3 and 52 A at 480 V. It is designed for motor reversing in industrial control panels, with screw-type terminals for both main and coil circuits.
Mounting and mechanical integration
The S2 contactor frame measures 141 mm high, 120 mm wide, and 130 mm deep. Clearance spacing: 10 mm upwards, forwards, downwards, and to the side; 0 mm backwards.
Power ratings and duty
Rated at 22 kW at 400 V AC-3 (52 A at 480 V, 30 kW at 500 V, 22 kW at 690 V). AC-4 rating is also 22 kW at 400 V. Horsepower equivalents: 15 hp at 220/230 V, 40 hp at 460/480 V, 50 hp at 575/600 V. Coil draws 0.36 A at 50 Hz, 0.39 A at 60 Hz.
Terminal capacity and environmental limits
Main circuit terminals accept solid conductors: 2x (1 … 35 mm²) and 1x (1 … 50 mm²). Coil and auxiliary terminals accept 2x (0.5 … 1.5 mm²) solid or stranded, or 2x (0.75 … 2.5 mm²). Mechanical life 10 million operations.
