The 3RA2337-8XB30-1AC2 is a Siemens SIRIUS reversing contactor assembly — two mechanically interlocked contactors in one package, so a motor can run forward and reverse without external interlocks or a separate reversing starter. Rated 30 kW at 400 V AC-3 and 65 A at 480 V, it handles standard three-phase induction motors up to those loads. The AC-4 rating at 400 V is also 30 kW — that covers plugging and inching duty where the contactor opens under full locked-rotor current, not just running current. The coil pulls 24 V at 50 Hz and 24 V at 60 Hz — same control voltage, no transformer swap needed when line frequency changes. Each supplied contactor is a 3RT2037-1AG20 — that's the S2 frame size, which means the contactor footprint and terminal layout are consistent across the S2 family.
Mounting and wiring — DIN rail fit and conductor sizing
Mounts on 35 mm standard DIN rail with a screw and snap-on fastening. The mounting position is flexible: you can rotate it +/-180° on a vertical surface, and tilt it forward or backward by +/-22.5° — useful when the panel layout forces an odd angle. Dimensions are 141 mm high, 120 mm wide, and 130 mm deep — that depth includes the contactor body and the screw terminals. That covers most panel wiring up to 50 mm² on the load side.
Lifecycle and sourcing — current production, quoted to order
Sourced through independent distribution channels. The assembly includes two 3RT2037-1AG20 contactors — if you need a replacement contactor only, that's the spare part number.
