Star-delta starter assembly — what's inside
The 3RA2415-8XF31-1AP0: This is a pre-assembled SIRIUS contactor set for star-delta (wye-delta) motor starting, size S00. It ships with three 3RT2015-1AP01 contactors and the RS assembly kit 3RA2913-2BB1 — you mount it as a unit, not piece by piece. That covers the common European 400 V motor frame and steps up to 690 V for mining or heavy industrial feeds.
Mounting and panel fit
Dimensions are 68 mm high, 135 mm wide, 145 mm deep — the depth is the key constraint when the gland plate is tight. Clearance around the unit: 6 mm upwards, forwards, downwards, and to the side; 0 mm backwards (flush to the rail). That 0 mm rear clearance means it sits tight against the backplane — no extra breathing space needed behind the DIN rail.
Termination and wiring
Main current circuit, auxiliary/control circuit, and magnet coil all use screw-type terminals.
Environmental and compliance
Operates from -25 to +60 °C; stores from -55 to +80 °C. RoHS compliance date (substance prohibition) is 10/01/2009 — it meets the EU RoHS cutoff. No auxiliary switch fitted as standard (product extension auxiliary switch: No), so if you need a feedback contact, add it separately.
