Star-delta assembly — what's in the box
The 3RA2417-8XF31-1AP0-ZX95: This is a factory-assembled star-delta (wye-delta) contactor set from the SIRIUS family, size S00. It ships with three contactors: two 3RT2018-1AP01 units for the line and star legs, and one 3RT2016-1AP01 for the delta leg, plus the interlocking RS assembly kit 3RA2913-2BB1. Rated 11 kW at 400 V AC-3, it covers the common 400 V motor bracket up to that power.
Mounting and panel fit
Mounts on 35 mm DIN rail via screw and snap-on — the standard panel layout for S00 contactors. The envelope is 135 mm wide × 68 mm high × 145 mm deep, which is the same footprint as a single S00 contactor plus the interlock bridge; no extra width for the star-delta transition. Clearance requirements are 6 mm upwards, downwards, and to the sides; zero clearance needed backwards. This fits tight sub-panels where the contactor bank sits against the backplane.
Termination and wiring capacity
All connections — main, auxiliary, and control — use screw-type terminals. AWG equivalents are 2× (20…16) and 2× (18…14) for the main contacts. The magnet coil also terminates via screw terminals — no quick-connect tabs. Plan for a screwdriver-accessible zone on the panel layout.
Lifecycle and sourcing posture
The mechanical life is 10 million operations typical — this is the contactor block endurance, not the full assembly, but the interlock kit does not add wear points.
