Star-delta contactor assembly for 11 kW motors
The 3RA2417-8XH31-2BB4: It ships with three pre-selected contactors: 3RT2018-2BB41-0CC0, 3RT2018-2BB41, and 3RT2016-2BB41, plus the RS assembly kit 3RA2913-2BB2 — so the wiring between them is already coordinated for the star-delta transition.
Fastens with screws or snaps onto 35 mm DIN rail. Dimensions are 145 mm deep, 135 mm wide, and 84 mm high — the S00 footprint fits standard motor starter slots in Siemens distribution boards. Clearance around the assembly: 6 mm upwards, forwards, downwards, and to the side; 0 mm backwards — so it can sit flush against the back panel.
Termination and coordination
Both the main current circuit and the auxiliary/control circuit use spring-loaded terminals — no screw tightening, which speeds wiring on the panel line. The coil magnet connection is also spring-type. For Type 2 coordination (no weld-sticking on short circuit), Siemens specifies gG NH 3NA, DIAZED 5SB, or NEOZED 5SE fuses at 25 A.
