Star-delta contactor assembly, S0 frame, 11 kW at 400 V
The Siemens 3RA2423-8XF32-1BB4 is a pre-assembled SIRIUS star-delta (wye-delta) contactor assembly for reducing motor inrush current during start-up. It ships with three 3RT2024-1BB40 contactors and the 3RA2923-2BB1 RS assembly kit, all screw-type terminals for main, auxiliary, and control circuits. The 24 VDC coil draws 13.8 W closing power.
Mechanical and environmental limits
Dimensions: 101 mm high, 135 mm wide, 181 mm deep. Clearance around the assembly: 6 mm upwards, forwards, downwards, and to the side; 0 mm backwards. Operates from -25 to +60 °C, stores from -55 to +80 °C. Withstands 11.8 g / 5 ms and 7.4 g / 10 ms shock at AC; 15 g / 5 ms and 10 g / 10 ms at DC.
Wiring and protection requirements
All terminals are screw type. Requires upstream fuses per assignment type 2: gG NH 3NA, DIAZED 5SB, or NEOZED 5SE rated 25 A. The assembly has three instantaneous contacts and no auxiliary switch or bus communication module.
