Star-delta starter kit — what's in the box
The 3RA2425-8XF32-2AC2 is a pre-assembled SIRIUS contactor assembly for star-delta (wye-delta) motor starting — three contactors and the RS timing relay on a common mounting plate, wired and tested at the factory. The kit ships with two 3RT2026-2AC20 contactors (line and star) and one 3RT2024-2AC20 (delta), plus the 3RA2923-2BB2 RS assembly kit — no separate ordering of individual contactors needed.
Panel fit and mounting flexibility
Size S0 footprint: 114 mm high, 135 mm wide, 171 mm deep — screw-fix or snap-on onto 35 mm standard DIN rail, with mounting position adjustable ±180° rotation and ±22.5° tilt on a vertical surface. Clearance distances: 6 mm upwards, forwards, downwards, and sideways; 0 mm backwards — the assembly sits flush against the back panel, saving depth in shallow enclosures.
Wiring and termination — spring terminals throughout
Main contact AWG range is 1x (18... 8) — the spring clamp holds the full conductor cross-section without cold flow under thermal cycling.
Environmental limits and shock rating
Shock resistance: 11.8 g / 5 ms and 7.4 g / 10 ms in AC operation; 15 g / 5 ms and 10 g / 10 ms in DC — the assembly holds contact closure under moderate vibration on conveyor and pump applications.
RoHS compliance date 10/01/2009 — the assembly meets EU substance restrictions for industrial equipment shipped into regulated markets.
