Star-delta starter assembly — what's in the box
The 3RA2425-8XF32-2AL2: This is a pre-assembled SIRIUS contactor set for star-delta (wye-delta) motor starting — three contactors, an RS assembly kit, and the interconnecting wiring already on a mounting plate. The supplied contactors are two 3RT2026-2AL20 units for the line and delta legs, plus one 3RT2024-2AL20 for the star leg. The RS kit part number is 3RA2923-2BB2. Out of the box, the assembly is ready to mount and wire — no need to source individual contactors or build the interlock wiring yourself.
Power ratings and motor sizing
The S0 contactor frame size keeps the assembly compact: 114 mm high, 135 mm wide, 171 mm deep. Spring-loaded terminals on both the main current circuit and the auxiliary/control circuit — no screw torquing needed.
Mounting flexibility and clearances
Required clearances around the assembly: 6 mm upwards, 6 mm forwards, 6 mm downwards, 6 mm to the side, and 0 mm backwards. The zero-clearance rear face means it can sit flush against the back panel or another device.
Environmental and mechanical endurance
Vibration resistance is specified at 11.8 g / 5 ms and 7.4 g / 10 ms on AC, and 15 g / 5 ms and 10 g / 10 ms on DC — figures that cover most industrial panel and machinery applications. Mechanical life of the contactor is rated at 10,000,000 operating cycles typical — this is the mechanical endurance of the S0 contactor block itself, not the full assembly under load.
