Star-delta contactor assembly, 45 kW — what's in the box
The 3RA2436-8XF32-1AG2 is a pre-assembled SIRIUS star-delta (wye-delta) contactor set for motor starting, rated 45 kW at 400 V AC-3. It ships with three contactors: two 3RT2036-1AG20 for the line and star legs, and one 3RT2028-1AG20 for the delta leg, plus the 3RA2933-2C RS assembly kit. The 45 kW rating at 400 V means this assembly handles a typical 80 A motor load in AC-3 duty — the spec calls for 80 A fuses (gG NH 3NA, DIAZED 5SB, or NEOZED 5SE) on the line side. That's the right-sized spec for a 45 kW pump or fan on a 400 V supply.
Panel fit and mounting — screw-fix, not DIN rail
Mounting is by screw fixing, not DIN-rail snap-on. The assembly measures 177.5 mm wide by 142 mm high by 223 mm deep — budget that depth into the enclosure, especially if the gland plate is tight. No special crimp tool needed, but torque the screws to the Siemens spec for the wire size.
