Pre-assembled star-delta starting set — what's in the box
The 3RA2437-8XF32-1AL2: This SIRIUS contactor assembly ships as a matched wye-delta starting set: two 3RT2037-1AL20 contactors for the line and delta legs, plus one 3RT2035-1AL20 for the star leg, all wired through the included RS assembly kit 3RA2933-2BB1.
Panel fit and mounting — screw fixing, not DIN rail
Fastens with screws (no DIN-rail clip), so budget for four drilled holes on the subpanel. The 177.5 mm width and 142 mm height fit a standard 600 mm enclosure backpan; the 223 mm depth means the assembly protrudes almost 9 inches from the mounting surface — check clearance to the enclosure door or any busbar behind it. Vibration rated at 18.5g for 5 ms and 11.6g for 10 ms — survives the shock profile of a compressor skid or a railcar-mounted cabinet without the contacts bouncing open.
Termination and wire sizing
Auxiliary and control circuit terminals are screw-type, taking 0.5–2.5 mm² stranded or solid — standard for 24 VDC or 230 VAC control wiring.
Upstream protection and operating conditions
Requires a 125 A gG fuse (NH 3NA, DIAZED 5SB, or NEOZED 5SE) on the supply side — this is the specified short-circuit protection for the assembly, not the motor overload setting. Substance prohibition dated 10/01/2014 — RoHS compliant per the EU directive in effect at that date.
