Star-delta contactor assembly for 55 kW at 400 V
The Siemens 3RA2444-8XE32-1NB3 is a factory-assembled star-delta (wye-delta) starter from the SIRIUS family, built around three supplied contactors: two 3RT2045-1NB30 units and one 3RT2035-1NB30. Rated 55 kW at 400 V and 90 kW at 690 V in AC-3 duty, this assembly handles the transition from star to delta for induction motors up to that power class — the contactor sizing and interlocking are pre-configured at the factory.
Mounting and panel integration
Dimensions are 220 mm wide, 180 mm high, and 244 mm deep — the depth is the dimension to plan for when routing cables to the screw-type main and control circuit terminals.
For the main circuit, the recommended fuse assignment is 160 A gG NH (3NA), DIAZED (5SB), or NEOZED (5SE) types. The assembly carries a substance prohibition date of 03/01/2017 for compliance tracking.
