What this coupling module does — and where it fits
The 3RA2711-1DB00 is a Sirius coupling module that snaps onto the front of a communication-capable contactor (3RT20…-…..-0CC0) to give it reversing-starter logic and an IO-Link or AS-i bus interface. It takes a 24 V DC control supply and uses a varistor for surge suppression — no separate suppressor needed on the coil.
Mounting and panel fit
The module is 45 mm wide, 37 mm tall, and 75 mm deep — it plugs directly onto the contactor face, so it adds no DIN-rail footprint.
Wiring and environmental limits
Rated for 690 V AC insulation at pollution degree 3, with IP20 finger-safe front protection — suitable for industrial panels where contamination is present. Operates from -25 to +60 °C, stores and ships at -40 to +80 °C, and survives 11 g shock at 15 ms and vibration 10–55 Hz at 0.35 mm.
