3 A OFF-delay timer for SIRIUS starters
The Siemens 3RA2814-1AW10 is a SIRIUS-branded motor starter accessory — specifically an OFF-delay timer module that clips onto the contactor or starter base. It adds a delayed drop-out after the control signal is removed, adjustable from 0.05 to 100 s. Rated for a maximum switching current of 3 A, with a 24-240 V AC/DC supply range covering most control voltages in industrial panels. The recovery time after timing out is 150 ms before it can re-trigger.
OFF-delay timing and contact ratings
This is a single-pole delayed-switching module — one normally-open contact that closes on power-up and opens after the set delay when power is removed. The OFF-delay time is adjustable via a potentiometer on the face, covering 0.05 to 100 s. At 50/60 Hz AC the supply voltage range is 24-240 V. The minimum ON period before the timing circuit arms is 35 ms. Basic insulation per the spec, with an operating temperature range of -25 to +60 °C and storage/transport range of -40 to +85 °C. Mounts in any position like a contactor — no orientation restrictions.
Panel fit and sourcing posture
The module measures 45 mm wide, 38 mm high, and 74 mm deep — clips onto a DIN rail or directly onto the SIRIUS contactor base. Zero clearance required on all sides (forwards, backwards, upwards, downwards, and sideways all listed as 0 mm).
