Compact starter with 53 kA interrupting capacity
The 3RA6120-2CP32: The adjustable trip class (Class 10 and 20) lets you match the overload release to the motor start profile: Class 10 for fast-ramping loads like pumps, Class 20 for high-inertia fans or conveyors that need a longer acceleration window before the overload trips.
Control supply and wiring
The coil accepts 110-240 V AC/DC — one part covers both 120 V and 240 V control systems without a separate transformer tap, and the DC rating means it works on battery-backed or rectified control buses. Main circuit wiring uses spring-loaded terminals accepting 2x (0.25-1.5 mm²) solid conductor — no screw torque check, just strip and push, which shaves a few minutes per termination on a multi-starter panel.
Mounting and environmental fit
Snap-on mounting to a standard DIN rail with a screw-down option for vibration-heavy environments — the 45 mm width fits a standard 8-module enclosure row, and the 191 mm height clears most shallow gland-plate enclosures. Rated for continuous operation per IEC 60947-6-2, pollution degree 3, and any mounting position — install it sideways or upside down if the panel layout demands it, with no derating penalty. Shock rated at 60 m/s² (6 g) for 10 ms, three shocks per axis, and vibration tested to 20 m/s² up to 500 Hz — it holds up on a machine frame next to a press or a conveyor drive without relay chatter.
