The Siemens 3RA6120-2DP34 is a SIRIUS compact starter, a direct starter design rated for continuous operation per IEC 60947-6-2. It combines a contactor and overload relay in a single 45 mm wide package, sized for motor loads up to 5.5 kW at 400 V or 12 A at 480/600 V. Control voltage is 110–240 V AC/DC (50/60 Hz), so it works across common global control supplies without a separate transformer tap.

The adjustable trip class (Class 10 or 20) lets you match the overload curve to the motor start profile: Class 10 for short acceleration times (fans, pumps), Class 20 for high-inertia loads (conveyors, crushers). This is a field-selectable setting, not a fixed part variant. The 5.5 kW at 400 V (7.5 hp at 460/480 V) gives a direct sizing reference for standard IEC and NEMA motor frames. Mounts on standard DIN rail (vertical or horizontal) with screw and snap-on fastening.
