The adjustable Trip Class 10 and 20 lets you match the overload release to the motor's thermal time constant: Class 10 for submersible pumps or compressors that start fast, Class 20 for high-inertia loads like fans or centrifuges that take longer to spin up. IO-Link is onboard at COM2 (38.4 kBaud), so the starter reports load current, trip status, and thermal state to the controller — no separate analog wiring. The three LEDs give a quick visual on status, fault, and communication. This is a plug-in unit without screw terminals on the main circuit; wiring connects via the base, so swapping the starter leaves the terminations undisturbed.
The 45 mm width fits a standard 9 mm pitch panel; at 170 mm height and 165 mm depth, it leaves room for a top-entry cable duct. Accepts solid conductors 0.5 to 4 mm² (or two 0.5 to 2.5 mm² per clamp). Any mounting position is allowed; the vibration resistance (4–5.8 Hz at 15 mm amplitude, then 5.8–500 Hz at 20 m/s²) and shock rating (60 m/s², 6g, 10 ms, three shocks per axis) suit it for mobile equipment or machine-tool panels.
