63 A AC-3 twin feeder block for motor starters
The 3RA6822-0AC: The main circuit connects via spring-loaded terminals, accepting 2 x (16 to 10) and 1 x (16 to 8) AWG conductors, with a stripped length of 10 mm. No screwdriver needed for the power wires — push the spring with a tool, insert the stripped conductor, release.
Mounting and environmental limits
Mounting is via screw and snap-on DIN rail (35 mm standard). The block measures 90 mm wide, 100 mm deep, and 197 mm tall — it occupies a single 90 mm-wide slot on the rail, leaving room alongside for the contactor or other SIRIUS modules. Rated for degree of pollution 3 per IEC 60947-1, meaning it handles conductive dust and occasional condensation typical of industrial control panels. Operating temperature range is -20 to +60 °C; storage and transport range is -55 to +80 °C. Shock resistance is semi-sinusoidal 6 m/s² at 10 ms, three positive and three negative shocks in all axes. Vibration resistance covers 4 to 5.8 Hz at 15 mm amplitude, then 5.8 to 500 Hz at 2 m/s² for 10 cycles. This is sufficient for most machine-mounted panels but not for heavy off-road or marine applications.
The block carries two slots for compact load feeders, making it a direct fit in SIRIUS 3RA6 compact starter assemblies. The design letter K per EN 61346-2 and IEC 81346-2 identifies it as a contactor or relay in system documentation — useful for panel labelling and wiring schematics.
