Form factor and mounting
The 3RA6880-2AB is a terminal cover for screw-type infeeds, sized 45 mm wide, 45 mm high, and 18 mm deep — it snaps onto a DIN rail without tools. Two covers ship per bag, designed for 3-phase infeed cables 25/35 mm² using the 3RA6812-8AB/AC base units.
Environmental and mechanical limits
Rated for operation from -20 °C to +60 °C, storage and transport from -55 °C to +80 °C. Pollution degree 3 suits industrial enclosures with conductive dust or condensation. Vibration tested to 2 m/s² at 5.8–500 Hz and shock rated at 6 m/s² semi-sinusoidal — this cover stays latched on a machine subject to cyclic loads. IP00 on the front means no ingress protection; the cover is intended inside a closed panel, not exposed to washdown or dust.
