Rated for motor currents from 0.4 A to 4 A at voltages up to 690 V AC, this covers fractional-horsepower motors in the 0.18 kW to 2.2 kW range at 400 V. The Type 2 coordination rating means that under a short-circuit fault the starter remains functional after replacing the overload relay — no contactor welding, so the line-down repair is a swap of the protector, not the whole feeder.
ET 200SP system fit
The frame size S00 form factor is designed to snap directly onto the ET 200SP mounting rail, integrating the motor starter into the PROFINET I/O ring without a separate control cabinet for the power section. The interface module (3RC7140-1EE10) handles the backplane communication; the motor starter protector and contactor sit downstream. For a panel-builder or MRO planner: this unit occupies the same DIN footprint as a standard S00 contactor assembly but adds the ET 200SP bus connection — no extra wiring for the start/stop signals or feedback contacts.
